			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Welcome to May!</strong><br />
This last month has seen a lot of                                     people feeling stuck and not able to                                     move forward. <strong>Don&#8217;t worry! </strong>As                                       both Mercury and Mars were in                                     retrograde for the early part of                                     April, it was still a time for                                     review. There was a need for the                                     completion of unfinished projects                                     and tasks before moving forward, so                                     don&#8217;t be concerned if you felt you                                     hadn&#8217;t done as much as you wanted to                                     do. Hopefully with the planetary                                     shifts, your energy is starting to                                     flow again and you are inspired to                                     move forward again with new projects                                     or start anew with old ones.</p>
<p>If you have                                     realised that the old projects,                                     situations and tasks are not worth                                     pursuing any longer, then this                                     weekend is the ideal time to let go.</p>
<p><strong><br />
Yes more letting go!</strong></p>
<p><strong> </strong>I know that some of you accept,                                     let go and forgive more often than                                     you did, which is excellent. But                                     this weekend, with the &#8217;super&#8217; full                                     moon there will be stronger energy                                     to let go of those patterns, habits,                                     emotions and situations which keep                                     presenting themselves to you and you                                     cannot shift. The moon is &#8217;super&#8217; as                                     it is closer to the Earth and will                                     be 16% brighter than an average full                                     moon.  So make use of this full                                     moon&#8217;s energy to help you let go.<br />
The full moon will be on Saturday                                     evening/ Sunday morning depending on                                     your time zone and for exact times                                     see <a href="http://www.fullmoon.info/en/fullmoon-calendar.html">www.fullmoon.info/en/fullmoon-calendar.html</a></p>
<p>To prepare write down everything you                                     want to let go of. On Saturday                                     evening when you see the full moon,                                     read or say aloud what you are                                     letting go of and then tear the                                     piece of paper up or burn it.<br />
Stay focused on how you feel after                                     those situations have been released,                                     close your eyes and imagine yourself                                     in this state &#8211; how does it feel,                                     what do you look like, do you feel                                     lighter&#8230;. keep this feeling for as                                     long as you can.<br />

<p>The other common theme this last                                     month has been the number of people                                     who have experienced the passing of                                     a loved one. Everyone deals with                                     bereavement differently and many                                     have beliefs to help them along, but                                     there are also many who cannot find                                     any comfort in the unknown event of                                     death. I have found that people who                                     have had &#8216;near death experiences&#8217;                                     have a story to tell about what they                                     felt and the ones I have heard, have                                     all said that they saw or felt the                                     presence of loved ones, felt love                                     and no longer had a fear of dying. I                                     have e-mailed the YouTube interview                                     of Anita Moorjani many times to                                     people experiencing loss and it has                                     definitely given me comfort in my                                     times of loss. <p>There are still spaces available on                                     my May and June workshops for those                                     looking to book some                                     self-development time on a Saturday                                     &#8211; let me know if you would like to                                     come along. I also do the workshops                                     on a weekday for groups of 3 wanting                                     to schedule in time during the week                                     instead of a Saturday. Some of you                                     may have noticed that my downloads                                     are still £3 each following on from                                     my March offer. I have decided to                                     keep them at this price, so treat                                     yourself to an afternoon or morning                                     of meditation &#8211; recent downloads                                     have been: meditating on your                                     magnificent self, seeing the                                     gratitude in your challenges and                                     healing the body with light.</p>
<p>I have a stand at the Friends of                                     Saltdean Lido Fun Day on Saturday                                     26th May 11am-4pm. It was a                                     brilliant day last year, with lots                                     of food, children&#8217;s activities, an                                     entertainment stage and an arts and                                     craft market. I&#8217;ll be promoting my                                     meditation classes and life coaching                                     for those local to the area who want                                     to meet me. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Try <strong>meditating before you sleep</strong> for an extremely deep, refreshing sleep.</p>
<p>How relaxed are you before you go to bed? Have you just watched the news? Have you just tweeted or checked one last e-mail? These will stimulate your mind and not be an aid to a restful night&#8217;s sleep.</p>
<p>Instead try switching off all your technology, equipment and screens at least 30 minutes before you go to bed and then do some breath meditation to relax yourself before you sleep.</p>
<p>Concentrate on your breath, allowing your focus to come away from your day and into the moment. The deeper you breathe, the more relaxed you should start feeling.</p>
<p>Try it today and notice the difference in your sleep.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I am back from my travels to India. My husband, Jay Parmar, and I were doing some charity work helping out the people in remote villages with shelter, food and clothes. We also did an animal camp where farmers can bring their sick animals for treatment they cannot afford and the vets travel from the town to them.</p>
<p>It had been a while since I&#8217;ve been to India and I was amazed at how much had changed especially in the big city Mumbai. It has become a massive shopping mall and consumerism is spreading so fast! The divide between the rich and poor also seems to be growing, with an Aston Martin showroom a few blocks down from slums &#8211; very surreal.</p>
<p>Our charity work though was very inspiring and we brought a lot of smiles and hope to many people.</p>
<p>With this in mind, I thought the tip of the week (yes I am late this week, so it is a Thurs tip) could be to see <strong>how you can inspire or be inspired</strong> this week. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Limiting beliefs</strong> are beliefs which you have encountered from childhood and are holding onto &#8211; even though they may not be true now or never have been true.</p>
<p>Have you ever been told as a child that you were not good enough? Maybe you got a low grade at a subject in school and ever since then it has dented your self-belief&#8230; it is time to let these restricting or limiting beliefs go!</p>
<p>As an adult it is very important that you have your own truth about yourself and not allow old beliefs to shape your present and therefore your future.</p>
<p>A simple way to <strong>disempower any limiting or restrictive beliefs you may be holding</strong> is to write ways in which they have not been true throughout your life. Keep remembering and keep writing. Once these are written down, keep reminding yourself of them whenever the limiting belief pops into your head.</p>
<p>Speaking the truth especially to yourself is so important &#8211; there will be a throat chakra meditation on my site http://www.anamaya.net dated 13th Feb 2012 but uploaded in advance from this Saturday 28th Jan for you to strengthen your throat chakra and therefore your ability to speak the truth.</p>
<p>I am away for two weeks and completely offline so the next Tuesday Tip will be Feb 14th!</p>

<p>When you <strong>visualise</strong> make it more effective by bringing your emotions into it.</p>
<p>How easy or comfortable does the visualisation feel? Can you bring joy, happiness and contentment to the image moving through your mind. The more you can feel the emotions tied in with what you are visualising on, the easier and quicker it will be to manifest and create what you visualise.</p>

<p>So the tip for today is &#8216;<strong>declutter and feel the difference</strong>&#8216;&#8230;</p>
<p>Declutter all aspects of your home and business life &#8211; clothes, drawers, your working space, e-mail inbox, people you spend time with. Clearing out and feeling new energy can be done on all levels and in all areas of your life.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t worry it doesn&#8217;t have to be done all at once! Take your time and tackle a part of your life per month or per week.</p>
<p>Believe me, you will feel a difference!</p>

<p><strong>Jan 14th 11am-2.30pm Awaken Positivity </strong>- meditation &amp; life-coaching techniques</p>
<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"> </span></p>
<p>This workshop explains the need to be positive and ways in which       we can bring more positive actions into our lives, including the       &#8216;law of attraction&#8217; and vision boards.<br />
The workshop begins with an explanation into positivity and       meditation. After we have relaxed the body by pranayama (breathing       techniques), we will commence with positive image and word       meditations. After the tea break, positivity techniques such as       the &#8216;law of attraction&#8217; will be explained in detail and the chance       to practise these techniques.<br />
A deep relaxation and visualisation ends the workshop.</p>
<p><strong>Jan 21st 11am-2pm Learn to Relax</strong> &#8211; meditation techniques</p>
<p>This workshop concentrates on breathing and meditation techniques       to aid the mind and body into relaxation. It is an ideal workshop       for those suffering from insomnia or who find it difficult to       quieten the mind.<br />
The workshop begins with an explanation to meditation and how       certain techniques can relax the body. After the tea break;       pranayama (breathing techniques) is taught and simple meditations       to quieten the mind. A deep relaxation meditation then follows.</p>
<p><strong>Feb 18th 11am-2pm Discover Yourself</strong> &#8211; meditation and       life-coaching techniques</p>
<p>A good, healthy knowledge of yourself and self-confidence is       essential to achieve your goals, dreams and the life you want. If       you feel as though you lack some self-confidence and self-esteem,       this is the workshop for you.<br />
We will work through techniques to enhance your self-confidence,       improve your esteem and you will leave with the ability to work       through your moments of doubt and get to your success.</p>
<p><strong>Feb 25th 11am-2pm Visualisation</strong> &#8211; meditation techniques</p>
<p>Visualisation is a powerful aid which is used to realise what you       want and need from your life and then to attain it. The day starts       with an introduction to meditation, its benefits and how       visualisation works. Then a short breath meditation to prepare the       mind and body for the visualisation. We then break for a short tea       break to allow the information to sink in.<br />
There will then be a guided visualisation in which you will be led       to visualise a beautiful positive scene.<br />
The next visualisation meditation will be your own individual       journey where you picture the surroundings and experiences.<br />
The workshops ends with a deep relaxation.</p>
<p><strong>March 10th 11am-2pm Learn to Relax</strong></p>
<p><strong>March 17th 11am-2.30pm Heal Your Body</strong> &#8211; meditation       techniques</p>
<p>This workshop looks at the &#8216;chakras&#8217; or energy centres of the body       and how by meditating on them, it is possible to self-heal the       body from emotional and physical problem which may be present.<br />
The workshop starts with an introduction to the benefits of       meditation, an introduction to the chakras and then a breath       meditation.<br />
The chakras are then looked at in detail and a meditation done on       each of them to bring out the energy from them into the body.<br />
The workshop ends with a deep relaxation.</p>
<p><strong>March 24th 11am-2.30pm Your Ayurvedic Self</strong> &#8211; no meditation,       just Ayurveda knowledge</p>
<p>This workshop explores Ayurveda &#8211; the ancient healing science of       India and how Ayurveda techniques can benefit us today.<br />
There are three constitutions of the mind &amp; body &#8211; Vata, Kapha       &amp; Pitta. These are looked at in details and your unique       constitutional analysis established. From this constitution, we       look at diet (in particular how the different rasa/taste affects       the constitution), lifestyle and other ways to enhance your unique       Ayurvedic self.<br />
We will also look at the constitution of the mind in terms of       gunas/qualities &#8211; Sattva, Rajas &amp; Tamas and how we can use       this knowledge to enhance our Ayurvedic Self.</p>
<p>General admin information:<br />
All the workshops include a guided meditation CD to take home to       practise with, a detailed handout and refreshments. They all cost       £45 each. All are suitable for complete beginners and  people who       have meditated before.</p>

<p>I look at professional achievements, self-development, challenges I have come through. I look through my gratitude book at what I have been grateful for. In fact everything about the year. The challenges and the great things! I also see what lessons the challenges gave me and how they have helped me grow.</p>
<p>My tip for this Tuesday is for you to start looking back at the year &#8211; see what comes to mind immediately and which month you really have to remember what you did!
